July's #1 Starter Named in PAAA Sunday, August 1st, 2038 Mark Smith has made fans throughout USPL Triple A take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-0 record. No pitcher in the USPL Triple A threw better in July, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 5 starts Smith compiled a 0.99 ERA, putting up a 4-0 record, striking out 26 and tossing 27.1 innings. Smith has made 14 starts, tossed 75 innings, struck out 64 batters and walked 38. His record is 6-2 with a 3.36 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .228 batting average. |
