PAAA Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 19th, 2038 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Triple A, but last week Vesa Karpinen of the Port Royal Disaster reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Karpinen rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (11-for-22), 1 home run and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. Presently Karpinen is batting .351 with 27 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 16 runs and scored 12 times. |
