Hughes Goes 5-for-8 Against Scranton Tuesday, July 13th, 2038 Michael Hughes was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Nuclear Stadium, the Sunset District center fielder blistered the Scranton Supernovas for 5 hits in 8 at-bats to pace his club to a 9-7 victory. "Hughes was too tough to get out today," Supernovas skipper Andha Gangulee said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Michael Hughes doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, grounded out in the 9th, struck out in the 11th, singled in the 13th, grounded out in the 15th and walked in the 17th.
