Year Over for Disaster Grimsley Friday, July 2nd, 2038 Hezekiah Grimsley of the Disaster just might have to call it quits for the season. The 30-year-old Port Royal reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Bloomington Longnecks recently at Lookouts Ballpark. Grimsley suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Disaster medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 8 months. This season Grimsley has chalked up no saves, notched a 0-2 record with a 5.40 ERA, allowed 12 hits in his 16.2 innings of work, struck out 18 and walked 10. Opponents are hitting .197 against the Port Royal hurler. |
