3AAA Star of the Week Named Monday, August 2nd, 2038 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Henry Buckley of the Augusta Timber Hawks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Buckley rocked opposing pitching for a .562 average (9-for-16), 3 home runs and 12 RBIs to come away with the award. In 17 games Buckley is hitting .351 this season with 20 hits, 3 home runs, 21 RBIs, 10 walks, .448 OBP and has scored 9 runs. |
