Phansalker Sparkles in Shutout Sunday, August 1st, 2038 Roman Phansalker of the Athletic Club KC Reserves shut down the Salt Lake City Buzz 6-0 on a 4-hitter, holding them scoreless while ringing up 13 strikeouts and allowing no walks. After the game Phansalker said, "Guys have been fouling off a lot of pitches lately and I've been getting into too many deep pitch counts, but I'm pleased with the way things went today. I went right after them and stayed ahead in the count." Crunching the numbers on Phansalker for the year, he has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 4-0 won-lost mark and 1.49 ERA.
