3AAA's Star Player Named Monday, July 12th, 2038 At the age of 31, Carl Herbert might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Pennsauken center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .588 batting average. For his efforts Herbert collected the M3L Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 17 at-bats, no home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 4 games. So far this season Herbert is hitting .283 with 3 home runs, 49 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 212 at-bats and a .350 OBP. |
