Cleveland-Athletic Club KC Trade: Rojas for McCauley Thursday, May 20th, 2038 It's all done except the paperwork. The Cleveland Browns and the Athletic Club KC have agreed to a trade that will send 29-year-old LF Carlos Rojas to Athletic Club KC, while 27-year-old minor league LHP Ricky McCauley will be shipped to Cleveland. A top front office executive with the Browns described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. This season Rojas is batting .095 with 0 RBIs, 2 runs scored and no home runs. To date McCauley's career stats show a 3-0 record with 1 save and an ERA of 3.03. He has fanned 49 opposing hitters and held them to a .237 average. |
