Marcus Shill took Menard's Third League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 25.

For his spectacular campaign, the Buckhead Bowties star has been named the 2038 Menard's Third League Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.

"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the left fielder.

On the season he compiled a .357 batting average to go with a .424 on-base percentage. The native of Port Antonio, Jamaica also added 29 doubles, 4 triples, 32 home runs, 92 RBIs and 101 runs scored.

Jesús Encarnación of the Buckhead Bowties finished second in voting, while Craig Woods of the Ft. Worth Cattlemen finished third.
