SL's Best Pitcher is Vidro Sunday, October 31st, 2038 Jesús Vidro of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC had a fine 15-5 season in 2038 and today claimed the United States Silver League Outstanding Pitcher Award. He started 24 times, threw 151.2 innings while collecting 173 strikeouts and fashioned a 2.79 ERA. Vidro allowed only 118 hits, 22 walks and a .209 opponents' batting average. Jorge Otero of the Phoenix Hotspur finished second in voting, while David Moore of the St. Louis Coeur finished third. |
