The D.C. Divided have been purchased by Thomas Jackson from Tom Davis after lengthy negotiations. The sale was approved by United States Silver League owners today.
New owner Jackson told the press he was thrilled to be part of the league and would bring an exciting and winning brand of baseball to D.C..
Jackson was characterized by financial experts as a hands-on type of guy with economizer pockets and a penchant for being demanding in performance demands.
The D.C. Divided wound up 9th in the Silver League this season with a 40-69 record.
