PA's Best Player Selected, It's Leoz

Jesús Leoz took USPL Single A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 21.
For his spectacular campaign, the Alameda Airmen star has been named the 2038 USPL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder.
On the season he compiled a .319 batting average to go with a .423 on-base percentage. The native of Caracas, Venezuela also added 24 doubles, no triples, 7 home runs, 47 RBIs and 43 runs scored.
He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. John Hawley of the Walla Walla Walleye finished second in voting, while Kyle Goodbrand of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks finished third with 1 first place vote.
