PA Announces Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, September 27th, 2038 Modeste Azagba joined an elite group of pitchers today by picking up the USPL Single A Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2038. The 20-year-old hurler finished the year 11-1 for the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, piling up 123.2 innings, registering 144 strikeouts and walking 33 on his way to a solid 1.46 ERA. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Jake Newton of the Chicago Tula finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Rodrigo Alarcon of the Rocky Mountain Vibes finished third.
