Players Suspended in Walleye-Gold Sox Donnybrook Sunday, July 18th, 2038 Ánibal Arroyo of Walla Walla and Hakumele Apelama of Chicago were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Arroyo will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Apelama was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Arroyo on the season is batting .263 with 3 home runs. His totals include 15 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 60 games. In season stats Apelama shows a 2-4 record in 8 games, 41.1 innings, 43 strikeouts and a 3.48 ERA. |
