Penning Bashes 5 Base Hits Wednesday, June 9th, 2038 Jeroen Penning did more than his part as the Washington Generals topped the Tennessee Smokies today at Smokies Stadium. The Generals shortstop pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 13-1 thumping of the Smokies. Jeroen Penning singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a three-run double in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
