Martin Shuts Out Vandals Sunday, May 2nd, 2038 In a remarkable performance, Washington Generals starter Kent Martin beat the Eugene Vandals 8-0 in an impressive 4-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Generals hurler finished with 7 strikeouts and no walks.
