Kingman Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 20 Tuesday, July 27th, 2038 The Vandals stopped Samual Kingman's 20-game hitting streak today at The Riot Zone, but they couldn't stop the Provo Mango, falling by the score of 11-3. Kingman didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-3. "It's just as well," Mango manager Chip Bishop said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." Kingman is batting .368 with 1 home runs and 23 RBIs this season. |
