Season Ends for Joël Pesci of Tennessee
Tuesday, July 27th, 2038
Doctors in Tennessee said Joël Pesci might not play anymore this year. The Smokies center fielder suffered a broken kneecap during a game against the Laredo Hawks and will be out for at least 6-7 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

This year Pesci has batted at a .220 pace with 28 hits, 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 11 times.
