Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Kingman Monday, July 26th, 2038 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Samual Kingman did it again, bashing 2 hits in the contest at The Riot Zone today. For the last 20 games in a row, the 21-year-old shortstop has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Provo Mango beat the Eugene Vandals 4-0 today. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Kingman told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Provo clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Samual Kingman grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. In the current season, Kingman has put up a .380 batting average with 35 hits, 1 home run, 21 RBI and scored 10 runs. |
