Season Possibly Over for Ismael Pérez Monday, June 7th, 2038 The season is finished for Ismael Pérez of the Cape Coral Reefers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Reefers closer suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Columbia River Rats. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. This season Pérez has been credited with no saves. In 7 relief appearances and 14.1 innings pitched he has a 1-0 won-lost mark, 2.51 ERA and 26 strikeouts |
