Higuchi Bewilders Reapers Saturday, September 5th, 2037 In an outstanding mound performance, Cape Coral Reefers starter Kazuhiko Higuchi fired a complete-game shutout against the Grim Reapers at Margaritaville Park today. Higuchi was the key to the Reefers's 5-0 win. The 23-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 4 hits and 1 walk he allowed. "4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." In 9 starts this year Higuchi has recorded a 8-2 record and a 2.37 ERA.
