Caterpillars Ace, Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner

Mark Greenwood of the Grand Forks Caterpillars will be adding a new centerpiece to his mantel after being tabbed for the M3L Single A Outstanding Pitcher Award today.

The 22-year-old hurler started 22 games this season, tallying a 7-2 record. In 110.2 innings, Greenwood gave up 74 hits, struck out 172, walked 37 and held opponents to a .187 average as he posted a fine 2.11 ERA.

He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 12. David Fuentes of the Columbia River Rats finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Dave O'Neil of the Kennesaw Jets finished third.
