Grand Forks's Kichida Suspended Thursday, September 9th, 2038 It was both entertaining and embarrassing to see. Grand Forks second baseman Momoru Kichida really got rowdy at The Cocoon yesterday in a game against the Put-In-Bay BC. It all started with a called third strike and ended up with Kichida being ejected from the game. In between he screamed at several umpires, kicked dirt on them and made several obscene gestures. All of this is frowned upon by the league office. Today they suspended Kichida for 2 games. He could not be reached today for comment. This year Kichida has 1 home run and a .306 batting average. |
