Maverick McNealy put together a very solid month to take home the M3L Single A's top pitching honor in August. The 20-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 13 relief appearances he raked in 7 saves and 21 strikeouts in 13.1 innings as he put together his 3-0 record and 2.70 ERA. McNealy has gone to the hill for 40 relief appearances this season, nailing down 29 saves while notching a 3-0 record with a 1.33 ERA. The Louisiana reliever has limited opposing batters to a .184 batting average. |
