Year Over for Dragoons Henriksen
Tuesday, August 10th, 2038
The doctors have spoken and Joe Henriksen of the Louisiana Dragoons didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Henriksen sustained his season-ending injury during the Kennesaw Jets game yesterday at Jets Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Louisiana medical staff reported Henriksen had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13 months.

To this point in the season, Henriksen has put up these figures: 1-7 record, 3 relief appearances with 53 innings, no saves, 38 strikeouts, 29 walks and a 4.58 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .311 batting average.
