Harper Hurls His Way to Newcomer of the Year Award Sunday, October 31st, 2038 Vancouver's Arnie Harper grinned from ear to ear as he hoisted up the 2038 United States Premier League Newcomer of the Year Award today in front of appreciative Vancouver fans. He snatched the award away from the competition by rolling up a 8-6 record, a 3.87 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 121 innings. Freddy Díaz of the Boston Patriots finished second in voting, while Seong-hyeon Yi of the Portland Evergreens finished third. |
