Setback For Patriots and Edward Sterrenburg Tuesday, October 19th, 2038 The road to recovery is going to be a little longer for Boston second baseman Edward Sterrenburg. The team announced today that Sterrenburg suffered a setback in his rehabilitation and will not return to the roster for at least 9-10 months. He is being treated for a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Edward Sterrenburg is expected to undergo surgery in Boston(Massachusetts) tomorrow. Looking at his stats this year, Sterrenburg has compiled a .322 batting average, while hitting 12 home runs and driving in 28 runs. He has played in 59 games and scored 36 runs. |
