Aoki Gone for Season in Philadelphia 1776
Monday, September 13th, 2038
Kenji Aoki will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Philadelphia 1776 closer could miss the remainder of the year. Aoki was injured while throwing a pitch in the BC-Rainbow Mermaids clash at Ben Franklin Memorial Coliseum recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 13 months.

So far this year, Aoki has chalked up 23 saves. In 39 relief appearances, he has 83 strikeouts in 55.1 innings with a 1.30 ERA. His season won-lost mark is 2-1.
