Shredders Lose to White Walkers, 7-4
|
The Buffalo White Walkers racked up a win at Beyond the Wall, bumping off the Hollywood Shredders, 7-4. Juan Guillén, who started for Buffalo, pitched effectively for his team. Guillén, the winner, moves to 7-5. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 1 walk. Picking up the save was Ron Manning, his 1st.
Gilberto Ocasio had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the White Walkers. Coming up with runners on 1st and 3rd and Buffalo trailing 3-2, he hit a 3-run home run.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Guillén.
With the win, the White Walkers have a record of 44-43.
