The Hollywood Shredders dealt the Buffalo White Walkers a 7-3 loss at Beyond the Wall. Guillermo Coss was the star on offense. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Yeon-kyu Kim picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Ron Manning was tagged with the loss. Hollywood improves to 59-27 with the win. They lead their division by 9½ games.
Coss had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 slider from Ron Manning, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Shredders a 7-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Coss.
In comments to the Hollywood Observer, Coss insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
