Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Divided
|
In a tight contest at Washington Stadium, the D.C. Divided edged the Nashville Outlaws by the score of 5-4. D.C. left fielder Sinclair Bothof, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Nashville's current losing streak is now 4 games.
When he came to bat in the bottom of the 14th, Abel Murphy had a chance to end it. Nashville pitcher Bob Bolen had other ideas. But with one out, Murphy grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Divided had the win.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Nashville manager Ryan Naylor.
