Shredders Get Close Win Over Northern Lions BC
Thunder Bay pitcher Jesús Vidro gave the Shredders all they could handle, but in the end, Hollywood left The Hollywood Bowl with a 4-3 win. Vidro allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 7.2 innings. Hollywood reliever Seung Pak got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Jim Sison was tagged with the loss. Yeon-kyu Kim earned the save for Hollywood, his 13th of the year.

Had Kanko Umaba not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Umaba hit a 2-run double. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Shredders.

"I really like what we did out there today," Umaba said after the game.

This win makes it 5 in a row for Hollywood.
