Flamingos Lose to Outlaws, 5-2
|
Nashville and Las Vegas duked it out at Nashville Stadium and the Outlaws came out victorious.
The Nashville Outlaws picked up a win at Nashville Stadium, knocking off the Las Vegas Flamingos, 5-2. Starting pitcher Peter Glenn was an essential part of his team's success. Glenn got the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. Glenn allowed 2 earned runs. Onson Sweemey was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 15 of 17 save opportunities.
The Outlaws got a big at-bat from shortstop Sadakuno Hashimoto. For the game, Hashimoto went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave Nashville a 3-1 lead.
"Enjoyed this one," Hashimoto told the Nashville News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
Nashville bumps their record to 36-37 with the win.
