Buffalo Wins, Smythe gets 5 RBI
|
The Buffalo White Walkers bested the D.C. Divided, 10-6, at Beyond the Wall. Tom Smythe was named player of the game. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. At 34-36, the White Walkers find themselves in 6th place in the Silver League.
Smythe had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 slider from Yushua Wazir, he banged a grand slam home run to left-center, giving the White Walkers a 9-5 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Smythe.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Smythe said. "We did a good job of that today."
