van Munster, Grey Wolves Wallop Shredders in Game of R2039
On the verge of being swept and facing a red-hot Hollywood Shredders team, the Vancouver Grey Wolves had a tough assignment. Urs van Munster delivered.

The Grey Wolves left fielder was unstoppable for the visitors, as he went 5 for 5 with a home run and 4 singles, while scoring 3 times in guiding his club to its first victory of the series, 13-0. van Munster, 30, was named player of the game for his efforts. The win means Vancouver now trails - in the best-of- series.

Vancouver used the timely hitting of José Román to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Grey Wolves ahead, 5-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Grey Wolves manager David Krause said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow. Slated to start are Gerardo Pagán for the Vancouver Grey Wolves and Brantford Winstworth III for the the Hollywood Shredders.
