Pivotal Game Goes to Host White Walkers, 2-1
The Buffalo White Walkers moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the visiting Oakland Oaks at Beyond the Wall by a score of 2-1. White Walkers right-hander Kent Good was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the White Walkers a - advantage in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

With one out in the bottom of the fourth, Tom Smythe barreled up a changeup from Kevin Nogilny. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the White Walkers in front, 2-1.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Good.
