Pivotal Game Goes to Host Oaks, 7-5
Oakland third baseman Yu-zeng Si was the key at Oakland Coliseum today, being named player of the game as he powered the Oaks to victory in a critical Game of the Round 1. The Oaks took the 7-5 win over the Phoenix Hotspur to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Oakland grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases empty, Colin O'Connell delivered a solo home run, to make it 6-5 in favor of the Oaks.

"It was a good day but I'm not letting my guard down," Si said. "I'll let my guard down as soon as someone puts a big, fat championship ring on my finger."
