The Philadelphia 1776 starter rose to the occasion at Lang Park today, earning player of the game honors after leading the BC to a crucial 4-2 victory over the San Mateo Dirty Reds. Cepeda threw 6 innings of shutout ball as the BC won on the road to seize a - lead in the best-of- Round 1.
