Pivotal Game Goes to Host Voodoo, 7-1
The New Orleans Voodoo are one game away from a sweep after a 7-1 win over the visiting Toledo Stingers at The Voodoo Lounge today. Voodoo left-hander Ralph Greer was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings of shutout ball. New Orleans now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Round 1.

Greer was in the zone all game. He frustrated Toledo hitters while giving the Voodoo 6.1 innings of quality work. Greer threw 103 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 6 punchouts.

"Every team in baseball loses," Stingers manager TJ Reynolds said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."
