Carson, Dirty Reds Wallop Pandas in Game of R1
|
The San Mateo Dirty Reds have a critical edge over the Montana Pandas in the Silver League Championship, thanks to the veteran bat of Dylan Carson.
Carson, 33, put on a showcase performance at Lang Park today, leading the Dirty Reds to victory, 15-0, in a pivotal Game . San Mateo is now one game away from the United States Silver League Championship, leading the best-of- series by a margin of - . Montana will need to win both remaining games to advance.
Carson delivered in the bottom of the second inning for San Mateo. With the game tied and the bases loaded, the left fielder hit a grand slam home run to left-center.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Dean Ashley said.
