Third League Championship Game 1 Victory for Romano and Ft. Worth
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen started the Third League Championship in dominant fashion today, blowing out the visiting Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at The Cattle Pen by a score of 10-3 and securing an early - lead in the best-of- series. Cattlemen right-hander Armando Romano was named player of the game after he threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs.

In the bottom of the first, Ft. Worth first baseman Semo Hoaloha had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out, Hoaloha stroked a 2-run double to right. It made the score 2-0, Ft. Worth. For the game, he was 2-5 with a double, while adding 4 RBI.

"I really like what we did out there today," Hoaloha said after the game.
