Sonics Shut Out Loons
It was a good time at Sonics Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Minnesota Loons and Atlantic City Sonics get after it.

The Atlantic City Sonics picked up a win at Sonics Ballpark, knocking off the Minnesota Loons, 6-0. Starting pitcher Abakada Mana, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The winning pitcher was Mana, now 9-6. He tossed 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5. José González closed it out for his 6th save.

The Sonics grabbed the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With one out, Ken Norris, the 29th overall pick in the 2035 draft, hit a 3-run home run off Ricardo Ramírez, putting Atlantic City in front, 6-0. For Norris, it was his 1st home run of the season.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Norris told the Atlantic City Chronicle.

Atlantic City is now 56-40, while Minnesota is 56-40.
