Thunder Hawks Come Up Short at San Bernardino
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers scored a 5-4 win versus the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Field of the Grasshoppers. San Bernardino first baseman Lawrence Stokes nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Juichi Kanno earned the save for San Bernardino, his 7th. The Grasshoppers move to 48-47 with the win, while the Thunder Hawks drop to 49-46.

Travis Towns aided the San Bernardino cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Ft. Polk South manager John Anderson.
