Evangjeli Goes Wild, But Grasshoppers Win
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers had to overcome a big game from Mercer Island center fielder Mikael Evangjeli to leave Field of the Grasshoppers with a 12-10 victory. Evangjeli went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 3. San Bernardino has now won 3 in a row.

Pancho Espinoza tagged a home run off William Bruce in the bottom of the eighth. His solo blast put the Grasshoppers on top, 11-10. In all, Espinoza had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
