The San Bernardino Grasshoppers wiggled past the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 4-3, at Field of the Grasshoppers. San Bernardino pitcher Mihai Dumitru earned player of the game honors. The 'W' lifts San Bernardino's record to 46-46.

San Bernardino took a 4-3 lead on Travis Towns's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Mercer Island pitcher Jacob Swanson in the bottom of the 11th.

"This place was jumping at the end," Dumitru said.
