The San Bernardino Grasshoppers did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Yakima Hops at Hops Park. Nobody did more than pitcher David Flowers, who captured player of the game honors. Juichi Kanno earned the save for San Bernardino, his 6th of the year. San Bernardino has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

San Bernardino used the timely hitting of Vitorio Flores to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Grasshoppers ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"I like the roll we're on right now," said Flores after the game.
