It was a good time at Loony Bin, where fans came to watch the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles and Minnesota Loons get after it.

The Minnesota Loons trumped the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 7-5, at Loony Bin. Minnesota left fielder Tom Holbert was named player of the game for his performance. He was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. Mercer Island has now lost 4 straight.

The Loons grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With two out, Igme Samson, who is tied for 7th in the PAA in bases on balls with 45, hit a 3-run home run off Théo Picard, putting Minnesota in front, 6-4. For Samson, it was his 18th home run of the season.
