Shooters Rally For Late Win Over Thunder Hawks
The Springfield Shooters did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Springfield Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Jason Poulter, who captured player of the game honors. Springfield bumps their record to 29-49 with the win.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 3-3, designated hitter Sean Cox won it for Springfield. With the bases loaded, Cox hit a 1-0 forkball from António García for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 4-3 win.

After the game, Springfield manager Decheng Sun applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
