The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles defeated the Chesapeake Continentals, 11-6, at Chesapeake Grounds. Mercer Island catcher Corey Ollerton was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Mercer Island reliever Carlos Cardoso picked up the win, upping his record to 7-4. Jason Todd took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Mercer Island.

It could have been a different outcome for Mercer Island, had it not been for Pedro Muñóz, the 21-year old center fielder . Muñóz contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Mercer Island up, 7-5.
