Grasshoppers Fall to .500 After Loss to Thunder Hawks
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers got a sterling performance from right fielder Stephen Goldobenko, but the Thunder Hawks still prevailed, 8-4. Goldobenko was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. The Thunder Hawks saw their win-loss record go to 38-36. At the same time, the Grasshoppers fell to 37-37.

Raúl Colomo had a big run-scoring double for the Thunder Hawks in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Ft. Polk South leading 4-3 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from José Rodríguez and stroked the double to center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Thunder Hawks ahead, 5-3.

"It was a solid team effort," said Colomo after the game.
